Almond Cake
Almond Cake
—2 Cups Flour
—1/4 Tsp Salt
—3 Tsps Baking Powder
—1 Cup Butter
—1½ Cups Sugar
—4 Eggs
—1½ Tsps Almond Extract
—1 Cup Milk
—2 Cups Unblanched Whole Almonds, Ground
Preparing the Cake:
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Grease and flour cake pan.
Sift flour, salt and baking powder.
Beat together butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla, and almond extract until light and fluffy.
Add flour and milk.
Beat until smooth.
Fold in ground nuts.
Spread batter in prepared pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
Serve with Hagafen Napa Valley Estate Bottled White Riesling and enjoy!!
