Sonoma County’s back roads are chock-a-block with classic old sheds and barns. You just can’t build an old shed – these works of nature take decades to get that one of a kind patina, that sage and seasoned look informed by countless days of sunshine and fog. Indispensible, yet the ultimate in utilitarian, an old shed is a great place to park an old tractor, a stack of picking bins, even an orchard ladder, which is particularly useful for getting up on the roof, and enjoying another fabulous Sonoma sunset.
